Like happened three years ago when India hosted the Women’s Asia Cup, the men’s version now will start early in the morning. If the tendative schedule available with the s2h is to be believed, Malaysia will open the event, which returns to India after 18 years, with a match against their neighbours Singapore on 31st August at 7.30 morning. Two hours later, Bangladesh will take on Thailand.

Five matches are scheduled for the opening day, where except japan, all other ten teams will be in the fray. India expectedly rounds up the day, taking on China.

India-China clash, against the backdrop of China’s continued good show against India and Pakistan in the last one year, will instantly heat up the contest on the first day itself.

India will play four of its five matches under floodlights at 19 hours.
