Big win for Leo Hockey Club
BANGALORE: Intermitent rains did not hamper the crowded schedule in the State ‘C’ division hockey league at the KSHA stadium here on Saturday.
Leo HC carved out a big 7-1 win over New Ashoka HC with James (3), Warner William (2), Bhanu Prakash and Arun being the goal-getters for the winners while ASvinash struck a late reducer for New Ashoka.
In another match, State Bank continued its winning ways with a 3-0 humbling of Regal HC. Nachappa and Uthaiah scored off the penalty corner while Akram Pasha squeezed one in between.
