Cottons win big:

Bishop Cotton Girls’ School “A” outplayed Sacred Heart 8-0 in the Tanvi Rao Memorial inter-school hockey tournament in Bangalore on Tuesday.

NS Neha scored four goals (23rd, 27th, 33rd, 34th). Vaishnavi R scored a brace (14th, 39th), while Mahira Alyares (4th) and Tenzim Butt (36th) scored one apiece for the winners.

St.Joseph’s BHS: 1 (Arsha Usman Kumar 2nd) bt St. John’s: 0; St.John’s: 0 drew with Vidhya Shilip: 0.

Fizal ‘tricks:

Riding on Ameen Fizal’s hattrick, St Joseph’s Indian High School outplayed Sarla Birla Academy 6-1 in the T Shanmugam Memorial inter-school hockey tournament at the KSHA Stadium on Tuesday.

Fizal scored in the 10th, 25th and 26th minutes. Ganapathy (37th) and Aiyappa (33rd and 36th) were the other goal scorers. Bharath scored the lone goal for Sarla in the first minute.

In a second game, ASC School defeated Rama Krishna School 8-1.
