Hat-trick by Raghavendra
BANGALORE: Raghavendra struck four goals including a hat-trick as Young Stars (Hubli) scored a thumping 9-0 win over ITC in the State ‘C’ division hockey league championship at the KSHA Stadium here on Monday.
In another lopsided match, Leo HC defeated Naveen HC 8-3. Joseph scored five goals for the winner. In the third tie, MICO Sports Club beat Belgaum District HA 4-1.
Vinodh, Srinivas shine
V. Vinodh and Srinivas scored a goal each as Vidyaranyapura HC defeated Naveen HC 2-1 in a Kodava Cup hockey tournament match here on Monday.
Naveen scored Naveen HC’s lone goal in the 16th minute.
