Bangalore: Thumping win for Haveri

Vidyaranyapura Hockey Club drubbed Aristocrat 8-2 while Haveri too went on a scoring spree to blank Ideal Sports Club 12-0 in the State ‘C’ Division hockey league in Bangalore on Sunday. Sunil Kumar, Vivek, Ravi Kumar, Baljit Singh, Vinay Kumar, Mohan, William and Vinod found the target for Vidyaranyapura while Nithin and Deepak scored for Aristocrat HC. For Haveri, Bharath scored five goals, including a hattrick while Manoj netted four. Sachit, Amit and Yeshwanth scored one apiece.
