Carmel Rink hockey Day 4 Issue
Don Bosco continued their commanding form on a day that saw lop-sided margins in the Carmel Rink Hockey Tournament being held at the Mount Carmel quadrangle at Bandra by beating Our lady of Dolours 8-1 in the U-14 category .In a match between SBDA Nerul versus Durello Convent, Durello Convent beat SBDA Nerul to get a final score of 6 -2 .
The U-16 Boys category saw Childrens Academy beat St. Aloysious 6-1 with Sanket Alsi scoring 3 goals to take Children’s academy to a glorious win. The match in the women’s category saw Freunds beat Bandra Packers to procure a score of 6-3. Wilma Kanan and Pallavi Barve scored 2 goals each.
The super league saw a thrilling match between Air India and Union Bank with Air India beating Union Bank by 11-8 to gain a clear victory. Victo Singh scored 4 goals to give Air India an excellent headstart whereas Devindar Walmiki scored 5 goals for Union Bank which wasnt good enough for a win.
Overall it was an enjoyable as the crowds cheered their favourite teams..
