Chandigarh: Rock Rovers Hockey club will organise the 38th SN Vohra All-India Gurmit Memorial Hockey Tournament from September 21 to 30 at Sector 42 Sports Complex. Announcing this, veteran Olympian Balbir Singh Senior said, “Chandigarh has been a trendsetter when it comes to promoting hockey and with top teams participating, this tournament like every year will take the game to new heights.” The inaugural as well as the final match along with the last match every day will be played under lights. The winners will be awarded a cash prize of Rs 70,000 while the runners-up will pocket a purse of Rs 45,000.
