China beat India 2-1 in the third and concluding Women’s Test Match at Shanghai today thus making a clean sweep in the series.
They led 2-0 at half time with goals from Wang Men Gyu (4th min penalty corner) and Zhao Yu Diao (34th min) while Saba Anjum reduced the margin for India (67th min).
Both teams earned two penalty corners each.
India have thus concluded their seven match twin series against Japan and China in their preparation programme for the Women’s World Cup to be played at Argentina in August – September this year to be followed by the Commonwealth and Asian Games at Delhi and Guangzhao respectively.
