Today, on the 12th November, 2 matches were played in 38th ATS Junior Nehru Hockey Tournament. It was a day of less number of goals.
In the first match, Govt. Model Sr. Sec. School, Ladowali, Jalandhar won over Bright Scholar Sr. Sec. School, Sonepat by 2-0. Jalandhar skipper Satbir Singh took lead in the 36th minute. Akash Deep Singh doubled it in the 56th minute. Sonepat team remained goal-less.
Second one was 1-1 draw between Govt. Model High School, Sector 42-B, Chandigarh and Army Boys Sports Coy. BRC, Danapur. Danapur started brilliantly as Niyaran Mundu took lead for them in the 2nd minute only. Chandigarh played better in the second half and Gagandeep Singh equalized for them in the 49th minute.
