Australian jaggaurnath rolled smoothly in their CWG maiden match, defeating Scotland 9-0.

Luke Doerner opened the Australian floodgates witha penalty corner conversion in the 14thminute, and then scored twice in the 38th and 60th minutes.

The other goal scorers include twin strike by Chris Ciriello, and a goal apiece by Rob Hammond, Trent Mitton and Des Abbott.

Australia men are the defending champions.

England women overcame stiff Canada to post their second successive victory at the same 4-1 scoreline.

Canada took the lead through Katie Collison in the fourth minute, and then conceded four goals to lose its second successive match

England equalized thorugh Chloe Rogers’s penalty corner conversion in the 19th minute, and then goals came in regular intervals.

39th minute, Alex Danson scored, nine minutes later Charlotte Craddock enlarged it. The last goal came two minutes before the hotter from the stick of Crista Cullen who scored a hattrick on the opening day.
