International Hockey body, FIH, has written a strong letter to the Indian Olympic Association expressing its displeasure to Indian hockey having dual bodies to administer the sport, and also set a month deadline to solve the issue.
The FIH president Leondro Negre was in Delhi last week and engaged in both HI and IHF in order to solve the four-year long stalemate, which at that point of time did not work out. Though a formula of equal number of posts between warring factions in a new body, with 17 members from each, and a six member committee to oversee emerged as the solution, which even now is, it fell through in the last minute.
It appears the above is the solution that is being pursued now.
