Its the purse of Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports that helped India on a big way to re-enter the Olympics arena.
Government has spent a whopping Rs.180.90 million in supporting players’ camp and coaches salary besides providing infrastructure (stadium etc) free of cost.
It is heartening to note that the government has supported both men and womne’s team on equal footing as ever.
