Haryana schools enjoy good outing in junior hockey

Haryana schools had a good day in the field on Tuesday at the 28th sub junior hockey tournament at the National Stadium here. In the first match New Haryana Public School (NHPC), Rohtak thrashed Government Adarsh PM Shala, Janjgeer, Chapa Chattishgarh 15-0. NHPC attacked from the word go and

In another match, Government Senior Secondary School, Shahbad, Markanda, Haryana thrashed S.S Girls High School, Simdega, Jharkhand.

Haryana opened their account in the first minute and had the opposition on the mat in the first half — scoring six goals to none.

Three more were scored by them in the second half to complete the formalities.
