The South Koreans expectedly beat Japan in the semifinal to set up the final against India in the Junior Asia Cup Hockey. The Koreans won 4-2 at the Gachibowli stadium on Wednesday. Nam Hyun Woo played brilliantly to score all the goals, in the ninth, 14th, 38th and 65th minutes. After trailing 2-0 Japan tried to hit back but could only find two goals through Keni Kitazato in the 61st minute and Ryohei Kawahi in the 69th minute. Korean coach Shin Seo Kyo was elated that his side had qualified for the Junior World Cup 2009 by virtue of Wednesday’s result.
