India’s FIH Pro League back to back encounters against Great Britain scheduled on 8-9 May have been postponed, the FIH stated on its league micro-site.

This has come about because the UK Government has added India to the list of red countries severely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The FIH, Hockey India and Great Britain Hockey are monitoring the situation in order to reschedule the matches at a later date.

India, however, will travel to Europe in May to play FIH Hockey Pro League matches against Spain (15-16 May) and Germany (22-23 May) while Great Britain will host Germany (12-13 May), USA (Women, 22-23 May) and Spain (Men, 22-23 May).

Australia and New Zealand are continuing their efforts to find a date for matches against each other amid the announcement of a trans-Tasman travel bubble this week.
