Indian girls scored two goals in the last five minutes in addition to the fist half’s 18th minute strike to defeat Canada 3-0 in the 5th position decider today at the Major Dhyan Chand National Hockey Stadium. With this, the program for the Indian ladies come to an end.

We realized that we could not make the semfinals, but we take credit that we refocussed for today’s match and the team showed a lot of character”.
