Indian girls lost to the hosts U.S.A. 2-4 in the last pool match at the Junior World Cup, which was just a formality match because India had already qualified for the medal round.
U.S.A. score 3 goals in the first half, 2 of which were Penalty Corner conversions.
In the 40th minute, Rani Devi, star of the last Indian victory, scored India’s first goal, but just 3 minutes later, U.S.A. extended its lead yet again, another P.C. conversion.
In the 68th minute, Ritu Rani got a consolation goal for India and hence, U.S.A. won the match 4-2.
Interestingly, 5 out of 6 goals came from penalty corners. Indian team looked quite unhappy with the umpiring during the match.
India will play its next match tomorrow against England

There was live commentary of match on US website. It was just story of not taking opportunity. Even Indian coach said in first match our players need to get used to international umpiring as Domestic umpires have different rules and not stringent .
Indians were rampant on attack but did not convert their chances. But there were motivated right till the end to score in last minute. Lets us not get into umpiring issue and lets beat England and Chile which were see us through. So cheer up Arum .we are still awaiting your assessment of Indian team .Thanks,
