The news tricks in. It’s not a good news for India. Two key players Gurbaj Singh and Baljit Singh Chandi and captain Tushar Khandkar are suspended for different matches as a consequence of ugly incidents that marred the India-Pak match at Busselton, a suburb 250 kms away from Perth.

One Pakistan player is also suspended.

Indian team manager, David Johan, a localite and also team’s fitness expert, suspended.
India’s assistant coach Jugraj Singh, who was not sitting in the bench, and was away from playing area, too suspended for five matches.
Its irony for Tushar Khandkar, the most sober player in the Indian team, to have been suspended. As per the captaqincy rotation policy being implemented here by coach Michael Nobbs, Tushar happens to be the one to lead the side on the fateful day.

For the first match in Busselton, Ignace was captain, and for the second match Tushar came in to replace him. Otherwise , the captain for the tour is Bharat Chetri.

Ironically, Chetri and Igance were not played against Pakistan, and the turn came to Tushar.

Note: There is no official communication so far here in Perth as to the suspension of players. However, reliable sources confirmed the news.
