Junior hockey team meets Pak cricket team

KARACHI: The members of Pakistan junior hockey team on Saturday met Pakistan cricket team at National Stadium here.

Led by forward Shafqat Rasool, the members of Pakistan junior team and officials shook hands with the members of Shoaib Malik’s led Pakistan cricket team.

Later coach and former Pakistan Captain Intikhab Alam delivered a peep talk to the hockey team youngsters in their build for the five match hockey series against Indian juniors starting at Hockey Club of Pakistan Stadium on November 11.

On the other hand Pakistan cricket team is due to leave for Abu Dhabi ton Sunday o play three One-Day International match series against the West Indies which opens on November 12.

Followers of sports in the country, however, failed to understand the purpose of the national junior hockey team’s brief meeting with cricketers as both struggling in international arena.
