Korea will host in coming July the first Women’s Asian Champions Trophy at Pusan. This was announced by Tansri P Alagendra, secretary General of Asian Hockey Federation.
India, China and Japan will be participating besides the hosts.
It was also announced setting up of a committee to form a Academy to train coaches, umpires, and technical officials etc.
China will host the Men’s Asian Champions Trophy next year, venue of which is expected to be finalized shortly.
All sub-committee chairman were present in the press conference held during the break time between first and second matches of the penultimate day.
