Hon’ble Minister,

We wish to bring your kind attention that 1988 Seoul Olympic and 1990 World Cup hockey player Shri Vivek Singh has been suffering from cancer since last few months. He represented India in about 100 international matches and hails from a traditionally hockey playing family from Varanasi in UP. His younger brother Rahul Singh is also an Olympic hockey player.

Presently, his employer Indian Railways are extending medical facilities. While we appreciate the effort, we are of the opinion that treating such dangerous disease as cancer needs better care and improved facilities.

Therefore, we request Hon’ble minister to make arrangements for best possible help to the ailing star. Further, Hon’ble minister is known for his long record of social service and has also been running Nargis Dutt Memorial Cancer Hospital in Mumbai. It is suggested that Hon’ble Minister may consider providing medical help to Shri Vivek Singh at this prestigious & state of art hospital.

Yours Sincerely
