As if it has forgotten the past days here, India dished out its original form to carve out an impressive 7-0 victory over the hapless France here on the penultimate day of the Kazan Olympic Qualifier.

Youngster Rani Devi delighted the hundred odd Indian fans — and also her coach MK Kaushik, with three goals in the seven nil rout.

India will now take on Netherlands Antilles for the bronze tomorrow. Coaching team assured a good performance so that they can seek some consolation in the bronze. “For that to happen, I need the team play patiently, hold the ball, keep possession and be alert in the cicle”.

France is an young team here, and is yet to win a match.

Meanwhile United States reached the finals with another easy and emphatic vitory. This time in the first match of the day, Antilles were not in the picture after captain Kate Barber converted a stroke. USA defeated Antilles 3-1.

In the last match of the day, Depite dominating and piercing attacks, Russia could not overcome Belgium, the team that had already qualified for the Sunday final.

The match, watched by full stands, was a dull goaless draw
