Hockey tourney in memory of Joe Philips
The newly formed Pune district Hockey association has organised an invitational Hockey tournament in the memory of the late Olympian Joe Philips. Joe Philips was part of the Indian Hockey squad that won the gold medal at the 1936 Berlin Olympics.
Pune Mayor Rajlaxmi Bhosale, Pimpri-Chinchwad Mayor Aparna Doke, and Manish Anand, vice president, Khadki cantonment board,are slated to attend the opening ceremony today at 3:30
