SAI ‘D’, Bangalore continued their unbeaten run in the State ‘B’ division hockey league when they blanked Synergy Sports 2-0 in a semifinal league match in Bangalore on Friday.

Mohammed Nayeemuddin stole the show as he found the net on two occasions (14th and 59th) for the winners. With six points under their belt, SAI ‘D’, Bangalore are assured of the title. BSNL and MLI, Belgaum played out a 1-1 draw in the other match. Bepari put BSNL ahead in the 4th minute while Amol Patil restored parity in the 42nd minute.
