Holy Heart Presidency School, Loharka Road, Amritsar, set up in 2000, has its own campus with a built up area of 45000+sq. ft. in 8.5 acres piece of land. Today Holy Heart has achieved a landmark not only in the field of education but sports too. Both outdoor & indoor games are given equal importance. The sports like football, volley ball, hockey, cricket, swimming, badminton have made the students strong & cultivated a sense of punctuality & regularity. The students are especially trained to involve strategic planning & organisation while playing.

Prof. Randhawa recently visited the school & encouraged the students to come forward, enthusiastically participate and also show interest towards their national game.

He reminded the students about the legendary Dhyan Chand, a member of Olympic gold winning Indian hockey teams of pre-independent era. who was also awarded with Padma Bhushan in 1956.


The school echoed with the voice of ‘Chak De India” “Chak De Hockey” a pledge was undertaken by the director of the school Mrs. Anjana Seth, Principal Mr. Vikram Seth, Staff members & the students to uplift the condition of Hockey & every prompt action would be taken by the school management to show due respect towards the National game.

The school has decided to train the students of VI – VII classes in the forthcoming years each & every Holy Heartian can show due respect to their national game by winning laurels for our country at National & International level.

India is Proud of Amritsr,punjab for putting so much effort in promotion of hockey among the talented youngsters and making it so popular as it was before in early 90’s….Good Work proff.Randhawa,We are looking forward that india will again be known for Hockey and its lovers….PEACE!!
