Surinder Returns to lead NZ tour

Veteran Surinder Kaur, who missed out the China-Japan tour last months, makes a return to lead the women’s team to New Zealand. India will engage New Zealand in a five match test series, starting mid wasy through next month.

The Indian Women’s team will play 5 Test Matches against New Zealand from 13th – 24th May 2010, at Palmerston North and Wellington. This tour is another of buildup excercise towards the our team’s preparation for the Women’s World Cup at Rosario, Argentina in August this year.

The Team was selected after two-day trials conducted at Bhopal on 17th & 18th April 2010
