Chief Minister Cup hockey

BANGALORE: The All India Chief Minister Cup hockey tournament will be held here from June 12. The nine-day event will feature eight teams vying for the champion’s purse of rupees six lakh. The newly-laid turf at the KSHA Stadium will host the tournament that would be played under floodlights besides being telecast live on Doordarshan.

The teams:

Pool A: DYSS-Karnataka, IOCL, Army XI & ONGC.

Pool B: Odisha XI, Air India, BPCL and Indian Railways . — Principal Correspondent
