Chennai: Defending champion Germany will be without its two star performers in the forthcoming Hero Honda-World Cup hockey championship in New Delhi starting on February 28.
Christoph Zeller, the most promising player in the championship at the last edition at Monchengladbach in 2006 has opted out of the squad because of important examinations during the event as also his brother Philipp Zeller for the same reason. Maximilian Miller, who has 100 international caps, leads the squad.
