Chennai: Muhammad Muneer, the international umpire from Tamil Nadu, has been appointed as Assistant Judge for the hockey World Cup to be held in New Delhi from February 28. He has been a tournament officer in a few Asian level tournaments before.
Muneer Sait, former Olympian, has been nominated as the Competitions Director for the World Cup.
