BPCL claim Aga Khan title
Bharat Petroleum lifted the Aga Khan Hockey Championship when they drubbed ONGC 4-1 in a lop-sided final at the Bombay Gymkhana. BPCL were clear winners with their better positional play and skills. Bharat Petroleum scored through Ravipal Singh and Sher Singh before the break while captain Ajay Saroha pumped in two penalty corner goals in the latter half. ONGC pulled one back through Gurvinder Singh Chandi.
