Manipur cops triumph

Imphal, Aug. 4: Manipur Police Sports Club defeated Cosmopolitan Youth Club 4-1 in the 2nd Super Six Hockey Manipur Trophy at Khuman Lampak hockey stadium today. The win gave Manipur Police 15 points and an entry into the final on Saturday.
Th. Brijit Singh scored for Manipur Police in the seventh minute from a field goal and Cosmopolitan fetched the equaliser in the 10th minute through K. Boy Singh.
Brijit picked up his second goal in the 35th minute, converting a penalty corner, and consolidated with another goal in the 46th minute. M. Ingobi Singh struck the final goal for Manipur Police for the victory today.
