Continuing their winning spree BSF, Jalandhar, entered the semifinals of the 26 th Indian Oil Servo Surjit Hockey tournament, crushing IAF, Delhi, 4-0 on the third day at the Olympian Surjit Hockey stadium on Monday.

BSF started the game on a fast note with a penalty corner conversion by Varinderjit Singh in the 19 th minute. In the 24th minute Sharanjit Singh sounded the board to make it 2-0. IAF men failed to capitalise on some good opportunities and BSF lead 2-0 at the lemon break.

In the second half of the match Mukhjinder Singh posted a beautiful field goal in the 60th minute to make it 3-0. Nine minutes later Mandeep Singh scored a field goal taking the score to a comprehensive 4-0.

In another one-sided match of the day Indian Oil thrashed the hopes of EME, Jalandhar, 5-0. Hamza Muzitaba opened the scoring in the 15th minute 1-0. The winners were leading by 1-0 at half time. Deedar Singh posted a field goal in the 42nd minute to make it 2-0, followed by another goal in the 55th minute by Arjun Antil (3-0). In the 58th minute Vikram Kainth scored a field goal from the left flank, which was followed by another goal by Nitin Thimmaiah in the 67th minute to make the scoreline a resounding 5-0.
