Children’s Academy, St Stanislaus in Aga Khan hockey final

MUMBAI: Children’s Academy, Malad, and St Stanislaus, Bandra, progressed to the final of the Aga Khan knock-out hockey meet after winning their respective semifinal ties at the St Andrew’s ground on Tuesday.

Rajat Sharma led the Children’s Academy attack with a brace to his credit as they thrashed St Andrew’s, Bandra, 4-0. Sanket Dhotre and Harsh Joshi added one each. The other semifinal was a close affair as St Stanislaus edged past Don Bosco, Matunga, 4-3 via a penalty shootout.

Results: Children’s Academy, Malad 4 (Rajat Sharma 2, Sanket Dhotre, Harsh Joshi) bt St Andrew’s, Bandra 0; St Stanislaus, Bandra 4 bt Don Bosco, Matunga 3 via tie-breaker.
