Hockey team selection trial on May 29
PATNA: Bihar Hockey Association has asked its district units to send their probable players for trials for selection in the Bihar Hockey Team which would be participating in the Under-17 Indian National Hockey Championship for boys. The selection trial would be held in Patna on May 29.
Though the tournament is scheduled to be held in Mumbai from May 27 to June 8, Bihar would play its first match on June 1.
Association president Danish Heyat Khan said the players have been asked to report to the selection committee chairman, Anjani Kumar, along with an attested copy of birth certificate. Only those born on or after January 1, 1994 are eligible to participate in the tourney.
