Pakistan confirms participation in Azlan Shah hockey
KARACHI: Former champion Pakistan has confirmed its participation in the 19th Sultan Azlan Shah Cup Hockey Tournament from May 8-16 at Ipoh, Malaysia.
According to a Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) spokesman, the team will feature in the seven-nation tournament to prepare for the 2010 Asian Games in China.
Pakistan will lock horns with old rivals India, Australia, Korea, Egypt, China and hosts Malaysia in the Sultan Azlan Shah Cup, which is an annual feature on the international hockey calendar.
