Punjab women’s hockey camp from January 13
JALANDHAR: A total of 26 players have been selected for the Punjab women’s hockey camp starting January 13 at Rail Coach Factory in Kapurthala. The camp is being organized to prepare the Punjab team for the senior national women’s hockey championship to be held at Sonepat from January 21 to 30.
A selection committee comprising Olympian Varinder Singh, Rajbir Kaur, Iqbal Singh Sandhu, Saroj Bala, Harjit Kaur, Balbir Singh Randhawa and Baljeet Kaur picked the probables following a selection trial held at Olympian Surjit Hockey Stadium on Tuesday. Varinder Singh, Harjit Kaur and Baljeet Kaur will conduct the camp.
