Yash Raj Films contributes Rs 2 lakh for women’s hockey team
BANGALORE: The women’s hockey team received Rs 2 lakh from Yash Raj Films which produced the Shah Rukh Khan starrer Chak De India.
The cheque, sent in the name of captain Surinder Kaur.
The girls had opened a joint account in a bank in Bhopal last week, seeking contributions to help needy hockey players. The girls also continued their black armband protest against Hockey India.
