Tirunelveli and Kanyakumari entered the final of the TN State South zone inter-district school under-16 hockey tournament at Srivilliputhur on Sunday.
The results (semifinals): Tirunelveli 4 (P. Rajaperumal, S. Gabri 2, M. Dhileepan) bt Dindigul 0; Kanyakumari 5 (Jegan, Pravin, Arun, Ansari, Niswin) bt Virudhunagar 3 (Rasupandi 2, Stalin Chellappa) via tie-breaker; at the end of regulation the teams were level 2-2.
