India U-21 men beat NZ 3-0, women lose to the Dutch

The Indian U-21 men’s team defeated New Zealand 3-0 in their second league match in the Volvo International U-21 Tournament here today. Drag-flicker Harmanpreet Singh scored a brace, while Simranjeet Singh scored one goal. The Indian women’s hockey team went down to The Netherlands 1-0. Carmen Wijsman broke the deadlock in the 33rd minute through a brilliant field goal.
