New Delhi, 17 Jan 2014: After managing their first win of the Hero Hockey World League Final, Belgium Chief Coach Marc Lammers said: “We are playing well but we have to create more penalty corners and convert more of them. Today we got only one. But we need to score more goals.’’

“We have forgotten to score, just like in the other game. Till now we are playing the counter attacks against the bigger teams. Now we are facing break-overs and we have to be prepared and get ready for that,” he felt.

Loick Luypaert of Belgium, who was awarded the Hero Man of the Match, said: “It does not really matter whether we play India or Germany in the 5th/6th play off. We played well today and hopefully we have remembered how to score goals. And we will score.”

At the prospect of meeting India in the next game, Lammers said: “We are aware of it and w will be prepared for them. Let us see what happens,’’ he quipped. “I am happy to be playing for fifth place now, but I think we had some bad luck in games earlier in this tournament,” he added.

Meanwhile, Argentine coach Retegui also thought that his team too had some bad luck thus far. “But we had a review and we want focus and get back,’’ he felt.

“If you told me at the start of this tournament that we would beat the Netherlands and Belgium in the opening matches and only just lose to Australia, I would have not believed you. My players have grown in confidence over the tournament, and we want to continue to improve,” he said through an interpreter.
