Born on May 25, 1989, Zhao Yudiao was voted 2010 FIH Rising Star.
She won a silver medal at the 2008 Beijing Olympics and has been a key member of the China national team.
She has been a lynchpin of the attack for her country, often tucking away penalty corner rebounds, leading the attack and carving pretty patterns around a hapless rival defence and finishing neatly or with a thunderous back-hander.
