Born on April 22, 1994, the Netherlands forward was named 2013 FIH Rising Star.
She had made her debut in the same year and was quick to make a mark. She won a silver medal at the 2016 Rio Olympics.
Verschoor’s initial days were at HC Hoekschewaard before she joined HC Rotterdam.
When moved into the senior bracket, she played for Amsterdam Hockey & Bandy Club in 2012.
