Born to Olympian father and State level hockey mother on 24th Dec.1954, Lorraine studied at St. Agnes High school and St. Xavier's College in Mumbai. Lorraine Luna Fernandes played for Air India in the domestic circuit.  He father Lawrie Fernandes won gold at the 1948 Olympics while her Mother Lucy played National for Bombay. She figured in three World Cups besides 1980 Moscow Olympics. She has migrated to France later She was given Arjuna Award in 1977.
