Born on 5th Oct. 1993, Odisha's Amit Rohidas proved to be an all rounder in the Indian men's national team. Though a defender he can make impact as a midfielder and forward as well.
AMIT ROHIDAS was part of the Indian men's National hockey teams that took part at the World Cup(2018); Asian Games (2018); Commmonwealth Games (2018); Asia Cup (2013 & 2017); Hockey World League Tier 4 (Finals) (2014, 2017) & Champions Trophy (2018). He, however, missed the Rio bus. 
Lanky Amit Rohidas is an useful penalty corner negotiator and won many battles for India with this art. He also figured in the Azlan Shah Cups THRICE (2013, 2018, 2019); Asian Champions Trophy in 2013 and 2018. Before making his senior grade, Amit Rohidas excelled in the Sub-Junior and Junior levels too. He was part of the U-18 Asia Cup held in Myanmar, and then figured in the Sultan of Johor Cup THRICE (2012, 2013, 2014); Junior Asia Cup in 2013. He junior career peaked with the selection for the home Junior World Cup in 2013.
