Born on 8th May 1971, Mumbai's goalkeeper Jude Menezes donned Indian colours for many years before migrating to New Zealand in 2002. The Olympian goalkeeper was with the National Men's team of New Zealand earlier and now is with the Women's national team as coach.
Jude  made his international debut at the 1997 Humburg Masters. His participation record peaked when selected for the 2000 Olympics and 1998 & 2002 World Cups.
While in India he represented Bharat Petroleum's hockey team in the domestic front.
