Born on 27th Dec.1994, Punjab's attacker Simranjeet Singh won gold at the home Junior World Cup in 2016. The stout player made his senior grade two years later. He was part of the Indian national men's hockey team at the 2018 & 2019 Sultan Azlan Shah Cup. In the build of years, he made it to the Sultan of Johor Cup team in 2014. Visited England under the tutelage of celebrated coach Harendra Singh in 2016 in the run up to the Lucknow Jr. World Cup.
