Uttar Pradesh's Danish Mujtaba has been selected to undergo a special training program in AIS, Australia. The forward is a rising star of Indian hockey

Danish Mujtaba is a young and very talented player who made his way after doing well at the junior level. A product of Delhi based Air India-SAI National Hockey Academy, he also represents Jamia Milia in the college circuit.

After many junior international matches, he figured in the Junior World Cup at Singapore/ Malaysia in 2009.

He made his senior international debut in 2009 under coach Jose Brasa. He was the surprise inclusion for the 2010 World Cup, and then earned the confidence of coaches so much so he is now a fixture in the national team.
