Always a livewire forward, Prabhjot is a fighter to the core, which he again proved it in the WSH, in taking his Sher-e-Punjab to the dream final.

The left winger was born in Massanian Village of Gurdaspur district in Punjab on 14th Aug 1980. He had his training in NIS Patiala under IS Gill before moving to Air INdia Academy in 1998.

He was in the Academy for three years, AK Bansal being the coach. He joined IOC when the team was formed ten years ago. Made his junior international debut along with Arjun Halappa in 1999 under CR Kumar. Represented India seniors in the 4-Nation Cup in Barcelona in the same year. Won gold at the Hobart Junior World Cup.

In his long career in which he figured all major FIH and AHF tournaments like Olympics, World Cup, Champions Trophy, Asian Games and Asia Cup He top scored in the 2007 Asia Cup in Chennai.

A leader to the core, Prabhot fought successfully many favours for Indian national team members. He leads Sher-e-Punjab in the World Series Hockey in the inaugural edition.
