Play maker par excellence Ravi Pal Singh is fast emerging hero of the hugely popular WSH. He steered his Karnataka Lions team for win in the last two encounters, against Chennai Cheetahs and Pune strykers, that helped the struggling team to bounce back to sixth position from the last where it was languishing from day one of WSH.

Ravi Pal Singh, a veteran with the top notch domestic team, Bharat Petroleum, is a talented midfielder. He won the gold at the 2011 Asian Champions Trophy.

Rajinder Singh Jr. inducted him into the national side in 2005, Ravi Pal thus his first international in the Mini-World Cup held in Amsterdam and then Chennai Champions Trophy. Then he was recalled for the 2008 Australia 4-Nation competition that India played after the Chile Olympic qualifier.

He was again recalled now for the 2010 Azlan Shah Cup.

He plays for Bharat Petroleum, before that for the Punjab and Sind Bank. He hails from Sansarpur, a traditional hockey bastion, had his early hockey in Punjab and Sind Bank Academy. Represented Chandigarh in the Premier Hockey League, won National Championship Gold in Hyderabad.

He scored two goals in the 2010 Azlan Shah Cup and vital goals in the Perth Hockey 9s as well.
