Against the backdrop of ever-improving Malaysian sides, a good match is expected today at Doha. Malaysia need a big margin win over already-qualified-for-the-final India. More so after Pakistan defeated Japan 5-2, despite trailing 1-2 at one point of time, and thus getting over all 10 points.

Since then Malaysia has been on even keel with both India and Pakistan. India lost to Malaysia often on its home soils, especially in Azlan Shah events in the last 5,6 years.
